I have an unlocked (rsim 9 pro) jailbroken iphone 5 from sprint

i am currently using a tmobile sim card and getting all calls and data except data is stuck at Edge (E)

I know on ios 7 you need a 64 k sim to get 3g but on ios 6 Is there any way to get 3g with normal 128 k sim cards?

You've always needed 64K SIM for iOS 6 and iOS 7 for 3G data. It's just an added complication.
