iPhone 5 CDMA and R-SIM8 - NO SIGNAL Hi, I have an iPhone 5 CDMA version locked to AU KDDI JAPAN. I bought a R-SIM 8, installed the patch with iOS6.1.4 and all works fine. Then a updated via OTA to iOS7 and I have no signal. It says "invalid SIM" and didn't recognize my SIM card. Even the menu to select the carrier doesn't show anymore. Ps: the nano sim I'm trying is TIM from Brazil. What can I do? Please help me. Thanks! |
try with un-cut nano sim! it will work |
I'm test R-SIM 8 with cut SIM of Oi and uncut SIM of TIM. Both are recognized. My problem is 2G/3G/SMS, but for call, it's OK. My iPhone is problematic Sprint CDMA. |

-- Hello, You may have chosen the wrong way in the R-SIM menu. I tested choosing MODE1 FOR iOS6 i4S and gave the error Invalid SIM. My solution: put a SIM from another carrier (other than the Claro because it does not work on it) and choose the correct mode (MODE2 FOR iOS6 i5). Working, just go back to your SIM from TIM and repeat the process using MODE2. Hope it works. IMG_0001.PNG |

Like I said, putting a SIM card from another carrier, this manu appears automatically. Then redo the process with the SIM card before. |
I found something else by putting a carrier other than the original, you can take that same problem. |
