iPhone 5s Sprint RSIM-Air 2

Hello together,

Short notice:
after 5 days of trying and almost giving up here some tipps which could help you:

1. It is better to have a spare nano sim of any provider to make the RSIM-Air2 Provider select menu pop up, since it only appears after Sim Change

2. I deactivated my SIM PIN

Using these steps together with of course selecting US SPRINT in the Menu I managed to activate and my 5s with Provider "vodafone de" immediately.

IMPORTANT:

1. If you succeed, in INFO you will find SPRINT 16.0 written despite having another provider!!

2. I had tried another R-SIM Air 2 before, which didnt provide any functionality, the working RSIm Air 2 had R-SIM MINI 2 written beneath, the seemingly faulty one not!

3. SMS Out and 3g seem not to work I will keep an eye on this matter

4. I didn't use rpatch or iRose or what ever else is floating around.

5. On the last succesful Try I restored my new iPhone 5S SPRINT from my 3GS backup after activating it, maybe this is in some way relevant


And now Good Luck with unlocking your SPRINT phones, i will add additional updates concerning Stability etc. etc.

nope just these tipps plus selecting US Sprint in the menu worked for me,

of course after 20 failed attempts with other setting,

I also had "*GSM Mode" Selected in SIM Applications, dont know if that is relevant.
