R-SIM AIR, iPhone 4S, no 3G... Please help!
 

Hello team, I've recently purchased a R-SIM AIR.
I've checked its authenticity and it went ok.
I've replaced my original SIM for this one along with the provider's SIM I want to use and it worked fine.
But I only got Edge network. I thought it could be related with LTE patch so I purchased an activation code and I was able to apply the code successfully.

But still no 3G...
Not even the option under settings>cellular.

So I upgraded to 7.1.2 (was 7.0.1) and still no 3G...
Now, I also have a new message, I had never seen before when I try to setup the hotspot ("To enable personal hotspot on this account, contact Vodafone P")
I did install a specific profile for APN for this operator, I obtained it from unlockit. co. nz


Original network: Vodafone Portugal
Current network: Tesco Mobile (they are a MVNO)

Can this be related to the fact that I don't have my phone jailbroken?

Hi friend,i'm steve from RSIM team.
If you want to solve iphone4s 3G problem,you need rsim air and jailbreak,then add the:www.isamteam.com rsim repo and istall the C&D patch.

the patch not working to 4S,can u tell how to do it

Hello Steve, thanks for the suggestion. I've did your recommendation, but the patch didn't do the work, or maybe I've installed the wrong patch?

I've installed A1:CommCenter patch and C:R-SIM iOS 7/6 4S

Please advise if I should remove those and install another.

3G is still not working... :(

IT Finally worked!!!
I'm posting the steps, as someone else may need it!

All I needed was to change the R-sim mode to "Mode 2 (iOS6) M2 3G"

The title of the option was misleading, as it worked and I'm running 7.1.2

(I don't know, though, if the isamteam patch from Cydia is needed or not, as I had it already installed from previous attempts)
