How do I confirm which version of rsim I have and if it is safe to upgrade?

I think my rsim is an rsim 12 but is there a way to confirm this? E.g. on the chip itself or via the menu?

Would it be safe to update an iPhone 8 Plus to iOS 13.4.1 assuming it is an rsim 12? Would I be able to unlock again if it requires reactivation?
