Member: 2128484 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Unlocking iPhones with R-Sims *STICKY* If you are new to jailbreaking and restoring this isn't for you. (Right now) Basically in a nutshell I've jailbroken with this 4 times now. 2 of which were because of wanting to start fresh and 1 crash The only mod I had that appeared to conflict with the way the system and/or rsim coding is set up was tetherme. The first success I had was post jailbreak post tetherme. I posted my first success then rebooted and crashed. But I had modded a ipcc file and removed one and got stuck in a boot loop. 7.0.4 Restore w/no backups-rsim-jailbreak I keep on trucking and finally get it to work again. Install mods and tetherme and it goes down again. Rsim s#it on me. Service or the lack there of. You name it I had that issue. More than likely. Restore w/no backups-rsim-jailbreak I keep on trucking and finally get it to work again. It's becoming to be a complete nuisance (rsim). Restore w/no backups-rsim-(Introduced inactivated sim on restore then one with st service on reboot/activation)-jailbreak So here I am. Chilling with 3G ST again. 7.0.6 I wanna share the secret of making this work before saint patty's day though so who's ready to throw down and give their beloved jailbroken iPhones hell and make their retarded rsims work?!? |

Looking forward to the writeup tomorrow. And you mentioned you fixed My Number Unknown as well? Crazy if it's a full solution. 3 mysteries: 1)My Number Unknown 2)128K SIM 3G 3)5C/5S CDMA Unlock |

Member: 2128484 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Ok. Basically the rsims are retarded. I'm on Ntelos so I patched rsim with a & L from isamteam.com also installed r0se tool from rsim5/nano4g. I'm constantly having to toggle the different carriers in the menu eject sim catch rsim menu set my carrier then setting 4s ios6 even though I'm a 5c. Rebooting numerous times with or without sim toggle data roaming on that's what my solution is. It's tedious but as you can see from my pics I'm hallowed signal bars. I'm data only right now. Toggled to 3G via r0se. I have no talk or text. Yet... That's what I've been doing as well as removing all profiles installed and clearing network settings when starting fresh. Never update carrier settings in general about! The rsim is just an unstable piece of crap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Member: 2060476 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | That's what i did 2 weeks ago man. I already came there. The problem is getting the signal. I finally managed to get the signal bars, but there was an issue with incoming calls: when data waa disabled, no one could call me. I still trying to fix this. |

Member: 2060476 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Is very weird, when data is disabled, incoming calls go directly to voicemail. But with data enabled it seems like most of calls are OK. I say most of calls because i had data enabled and some times i couldnt get calls. In this week I'm gonna do a full restore and do some tests with bundles files and isamteam patches. |
