5 to 7 pin charging connector modification for samsung
 

Hello everybody here and congratulations to the forum, it helps from simple users to expert technicians.
I have a Samsung gt-c3300k and the charging port is off. I have available only 5 pin output whereas samsung uses 7 pins. If i leave out the data pins and use only the + 5v and GND do you think it's gonna work? Has anybody here done this modification ?
