Alcatel OT-1016D / G cannot flash [SOLVED] - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I downloaded from the support area various SPD flash files for Alcatel OT-1016D / G, but I don't know how to flash it with NCK dongle.

I tried with SPD and SPRD module. Those are set to show SPD files at add firmware file, but none of those files are showing. If I put *.* to show all files and andd an SPD firmware file, it gives me the following error:

Incorect pac file magic: 9541D68A
Error while parsing pac file.

Please tell me, hogy to flash these two models. Thanks!

Not need to rename nothing really.
In support exist arhived pac files.
So download, unpack, load file with termination .pac and flash.

Like i said, I downloaded from support, tried ALL the related flash files, same issue.

BTW: flash with which NCK module?

And...alcatel ot-1016 is spreadtrum phone, so we will use for flashing this module.

Please look at my first post: I said already that I was trying with that SPRD module

And that module won't accept those flash files from support area.

Please try to add a 1016D or G firmware in SPRD module and it will say:

Incorect pac file magic: 9DB0B88E
Error while parsing pac file.

My mistake was that I tried to use old, factory PAC files which are not supported in NCK SPRD tool.

I used firmwares from Support area located in
"Firmwares-FlashFiles > ALCATEL SPD Flash Files "
which are working perfectly.

If somebody will have same problem...
Spreadtrum module accept files with termination *.pac
Before flashing need to unpack downloaded arhive and load file with *.pac termination from arhive.

Will close this topic now.
