Huawei U8815 [ANSWERED]
 

Hello,

problem with unlocking Huawei G300 aka U8815.
Phone rooted as You sad, gingerbread, and in menu
i have SU. And phone is rooted.
But when connect and try to unlock, always say:
phone not rooted, pleasy root manualy.

Phone is on android 2.3.6 Telenor Serbia,
revision U8815V100R001C00B892

device must be rooted with root files from support, and strange software will not mistake root check.

It`s rooted from support.
Maybe is something else installed on phone, some app from market.

I finally menage to unlock these phone, but I must say that "Help" on NCK_Dongle9.0 is NOT helpfully:
"Unlocking instructions for Ascend G300
For unlock this phone phone must be powered ON and rooted
Go in Setting/Application/Development and select USB debugging.
Connect your phone to computer and install driver and wait until driver instalation complete.
Go to support and download rooting software for your phone.
It's different for GB and ICS, check please before root(Very Important)."

FORGET on these "help"!!!!

Little explanation here.

Decice can be unlocked from normal mode or from recovery mode, phone must have root acces.

Why we chose unlocking from recovery mode.

When phone start in recovery mode it load separate mini operating system.
This mode is independent and not afect main operating system.

Rooting main operating system is good thing, but it's unsafe for final user(customer) who can delete by mistake(root alow this) some system files
or can reseive some exploits by sms or mail and once phone is rooted, this exploits can affect phone.

From my point of view, clean unlock meen root phone if need, and after unlock unroot, or ask customer if he want rooted phone.

root for g300 2.3.6 not work i try tonight with recovery from nck acess, only manualy, change in help new methode for root.

Need chose flash, not boot.
G300 not allow to boot from fastboot mode.

i do flash no boot and say phone not rooted...

Tell me exactly steps you make.
You do some wrong, tested many phones and was ok and was ok.
