impossible x8 has been tested so many times and success by us any many other users, phone must not be rooted or have custom firmware, so check again and make sure you select proper version also try re updating phone with original firmware.

Please check if phone not have custom, modded etc firmwares loaded.
Please check if android version is not 1.6.
Please check if exe is opened in admin mode.
Please check if some antivirus not block exe.
For unlock phone must have stock firmware.

This phone must connect anyway, and no matter release version for this phone.
