About db2020 bruteforce

hi to all,
just for understand a little more...
Davinci says they have a bruteforce methode for unlock db2020...
i have try the davinci method and phone is successfully unlocked and working well...but somethings that i can not understand...
i have open *.dvl file just with notepad and the 2 informations that you have are:
1) phone model
2) imei
thats all.

Can they really use bruteforce with only this info?

So after paiment they send *.map files who contain, model, imei and some hexa string (i think it is simlock status).
So after, the prog ,with this file, make a *.gdfs files, upload in the phone and rebuild crc.
So my question is, can they do all this procedure without SE help, only by calc?
thanks for your advise...
regards

quite easy to explain. The bruteforce method is just a bull$hit. Something like smoke-screen for people with little or no knowledge about SE security.

They using a MARX dongle. The "calculation time" is no more than a protect against overusage. The daily limit for using scrap/rebuild EMMA scripts is actually low (30-50 per dongle), so they need to be very careful.
