Nokia JTAG debug


Has anyone succedded to debug a nokia with JTAG?
I linked the jtag to computer from a 5130 but there are 2 devices on the chain and the software from pc doesnt recognize them

if you managed to detect that there are two devices in the JTAG chain, then you are quite close. One of the device is the ARM cpu, and the other is the DSP. I guess you are just lacking a s/w that can handle multiple chip in 1 chain.

Just to add, alternatively, you can play around with EMU0 and EMU1 pin to select the chip to be included in the JTAG chain.

unfortunately i don't have time, but when i will have some time to spare i'll link the emu bits and try, and if not i have an FPGA on my side
i'll just make it look from pc side "as if" there was only the arm7 on the chain. it will get dirty and will work slower, but it will work

unfortunately if i make a solution with fpga i'll be the only user
i would like to make something more general to be used by more programmers out there
