Read memory
 

Hi all,

I'm working on a program to read the SIM/flash memory of mobile phones through USB data cable. I have not problems with the SIM memory, but I don't know how to read the flash. Do you know if there is an existing API for this?

if u are wanting to read/write Nokia dct3 then you should search for "knok" it was good flasher, with open source.
there you could learn the protocol for flash..

I'm working with a Siemens Mobile phone... but this is quite interesting for me anyway.

the same man who writes knok (nutzo his name, u sud search old posts in this forum), also released sources to siemens flasher i think :)

I recommend also to have a look to Obexftp source code. It's really great! The developer has studied the Siemens Mobile Equipment BFB protocol.

For sure I'll show you my work, once I have something ready to show. But I hope that you are a patient guy... I don't have too much free time to work on this. :(
