How TO Update/Repair acer a500 tab

Downlod require firmware :

Honeycomb 3.0.1 : HERE
HoneyComb 3.2.1 :HERE

Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 : HERE
Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 : HERE
Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 : HERE
Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 : HERE

Downlod Acer update Decryter : acer_update_decrypt

NEXT process : .................................................. .........................

Decryting Downloded Rar file usnig acer update Decryter

Now extractAcer_A500_7.014.01_041.203.01_COM_GEN1_13334440433 93_2fe1ad59_decrypted { dycrypted file }

NOW copy " update.zip " to a SD CARD [ fat32 formated ]
inseart the sd card to Pw off tablet and press vol+ and power bottom you will see update will start automatically

Don't TOuch or move tablet while its in update process
after compleat tab will power on normally
batter use only Ice Cream Sandwich firmware
if any error while updating then try another version FW Ice Cream Sandwich

here is Decryted firmware no need to Decryting again

downlod : Acer a500_firmware_gsm mithun roy - Download - 4shared

file pass : gsm mithun roy

downlod and extract folder and file will find " update.zip "

not work for me
as you said i copy your file in sd
but with volume up and power flashing not start
in recovry mode my device show red mark andriod logo

i dont know sorry i flashed this way 4/5 tab not only me many xda developer user also
hope other will help you

try with vol - key also

press and hold vol - key and power key together
when you see the led turn on release power key only [ not release vol - key ]
when you see erasing chase before sd update massage release vol - key
update will start auto
that's all please read and do same i said you must success

First r u sure sdcard is fat32 formatted ?
File is in root of sdcard not in any folder ?
File name must have update.zip,make sure its correct.

nothing to update open eyes and read carefully then do the thing
if not work mean bootloder locked then try other method .

as i maintain before if my above method not work mean bootloder locked
this will not allow to update your tab ,...!
and im sorry to say i didn't work with any a500 bootloder locked tab
so i dont have idea how to flash locked tab /or unlock bootloder
you may have to look hard on google ...!
