i have sonny ericsson k530i their is a problem in usb cable once i connect usb cable ob phone and same cable to pc its start charging from pc but not dectecing on pc plss help out

i have w800i its has a problem that my cell phone recive sms but did not show. The error is
delete some sms from ur in box but there is lot of space in my phone please tell me either its software or hardware fault or just setting problem.
