this is the_great laser's answer on the box
1. it works.
2. setool2 will NOT support it,cause it is too complex for me to do that testpoint.
to complex for the big greate laser

For db2020, patch solution is really enough for me and its free for cid52.
Unlocking by tp, opening phones have risk. The exciting new features for me is GDFS repair.
The real solution that I wait is pnx5230 cid52 patch or full without logs

they have full unlock for db2020 and gdfs repair if they can do that setool cant who know what will come.

Where are the testpoints , i am an setool user , and i don't open phone for a tp . Db2020 is free for all , and doesn't need tp , only gdfs repairing is a new option . I don't think someone will open a phone , desolder flash ic , and make tp for 10$ or 5 , when it can just open an software , and write flash in phone , and unlock it .

I dont think it would be too complex for the_laser, I think he means for majority of SE-tool users. If you are competent at unlocking Moto V3xx or nokia N73 then you wont find this too difficult BUT seeing as every TP is one of the solder balls UNDER the IC I can see many many dead SE phones around.
This box is surely only for experienced professional for full unlocking

DB2020 Patching is free for all not full unlock.

This is just a way to inhale fresh air in dead project ... all sound good, but days for DB2020 are in countdown, so - Laser is only one on peak of incoming SE development ...
