Great internal function of Bluetooth headset (tested on W810i & Z710i)

I don't know if this has been posted. I looked, (briefly) so feel free quote the post and link to this post.

I found this on to be capable on my two handsets (W810i-Branded & Z710i-unlocked) and I am assuming (feel free to correct my errant ways:eek:) it may work with all SE BT v2 handsets:confused: .

FUNCTION:
I have found that if I manually connect via (Menu, settings, connectivity tab, Bluetooth, my devices) select you’re powered on head set. Your handset will connect to you headset directly without your Bluetooth having to be being fully powered on therefore it will shut off when you shut of your headset with out having to be manually turned off. This saves power and I don't have to leave my set open to blue jack. Plus I don't have to remember to shut it off.

Notes:
1. You have to have set your headset in an always allow paired connection previous to trying (all under settings).

1. This is only a good function if you don’t mind creating a shortcut to hands free and don’t mind manually connecting your headset every time you use it. If you like v2.0 ability to self find and don't mind the power loss, you most likely don't care. I however like knowing when I shut off my headset my BT is off because it may be hours before I use it again.

2. Also this is completely different function from the included Bluetooth power save function that will connect only one device. Power save is still a on or off function that is manually initiated. Power save can be on or off for this function to work.

3. I found that on occasion (1 out of 100) times Bluetooth function will be fully turned on any way(more likely if power save function is off).
If you care or this matters hope it helps.

Note person's with alternate SE models please test and post.

Thank you,
BosZMan
