    T610 reboot after 15 sec

    Hi all,

i have some problems with a T610 that reboots every 15 seconds. One of our customers have tried to unlock and upgrade the phone with Flashing_Gold 4.?? (sonyericssonserver.com) and after that, the phone reboots every 15 seconds.

I have tried to flash the phone with DIV, but i always get an error 0101

Div says: Bypass boot authority and after 2% the error 0101 appears.

Any Idea what i can do???

DIV works fine with all other phones :-)

    br

0101 after 2% can show what DIV dongle can't turn the phone ON via charging pin after first authorisation try.

Check is the phone accepts charger.
    0101 after 2% can't be software problem.

    easy trick...

there is easy trick to flash such phones with div.

    just do that steps:

    1. open back case of phone so battery can be accessible
    2. connect div cable to phone
    3. start div, select flash files, press flash
    4. now the trick
    - on t610 without back case we need to press with finger on battery to make contact.
    - when div progressbar shows 2% there is small delay before div shows error 0101 or 0102 and during that delay we must release pressure on battery so contact will lost and right after it press on battery again. voila ! progress bar shows 5% we must do such steps until div begin "load data to phone" . then do not release battery until flash is end. and all will be good - phone alive, unlocked and not rebooting.

Anyway, this problem related to auto turn-on malfunction.

Another way to try: connect inverted ON signal (after first transistor) to phone ONSRQ/CTS pin 3. Its more reliable way to auto turn-on the phone.

First of all, thanks a lot for reply.

    @ the_laser

    Thanks for your help.

Trick might be easy, but i guess i am to stupid I managed it three times to 80%, but never to the end

    @ SFlood
    Thank you too

I dont want to solder on the PCB as long as i havenīt try SE-Fighter.

I hope i will get SE-Fighter at Saturday and i will give it a try.

Anyway, can any of you two tell me what went wrong with the phone??? Is this a hardwareproblem or just something that went wrong with flashing gold?

I dont think so, because i have sometimes problems with DIV and ARM flashing, DIV stops with an Error at 50%, but i allways can manage to reflash the phone, so any idea?

Other question, how can i reflash a T610 Vodafone with the Vodafone ARM Section (R3C002_EU6-EU7) and where can i get a Vodafone GDFS file?

    Thanks

    Best regards

    Markus

I'v heard what SEF can do GDFS backups (real one i think .
If so, just backup GDFS before unbranding.

    One warning:
Although Fighter creates a 100% correct backup of full T61x/Z60x GDFS, you can't write it to the phone directly using the Flash AVR function.
This is because the GDFS flash chip is not reachable from the original SE flashing applet.
By flashing the file into the phone, you will get overwritten firmware.
If anyone needs to convert such a backup into MDC form, we can do it.
