Simple Questions From a Simple Person
 

Hi, just new around here in the forum, ive been surfing around and all i can say the forum is a huge place. Ive been seaching and reading, altho i couldnt find answers to my questions. I dont know much about operating systems or what runs with what, but ive been looking for aps and games for my phone, i just need a little help.

I have a Sony Ericsson P1i phone. Is my phone compatible with any other phone operating system? What i mean is are the software for, lets say the P990i, would work on my phone. Problem is with the P1i is that i couldnt find games or programs that are specifically for it. Even gameloft has only 2 games listed under the P1i model and thats LOST and PINBALL.

Also another thing, i switched from a dopod 838 pro, i like the P1i better, but the contacts are slow to load, including creating an SMS message, even reading a message is slow. Are there any other programs i can load to speed it up? Ive already used the SE update service, and its still slower than what i prefered.
