sony k610i unlock problem

having an interesting time unlocking the above, its network locked to 3 telecom uk provider, setool originally returned the info below -

i used the following firmware - K610_R1JG001_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED52
However i still cannot remove the network lock still, if i patch the FS k610_R1JG001_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52 using setool the patch bricks the phone and i have to return to std.

Am i using the wrong firmware or something silly?

if your doing a unlock patch procedure..

lock status is still LOCKED but if you will try it with sim its unlocked

No, if i test with a vodafone sim it tells me to insert the correct sim.
