News: Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 11.3.1 and developers have been seeded with iOS 11.4. iOS 11.3.1 addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 8 devices because they were serviced with non-genuine replacement displays. If you accidentally update or restore, you'll find yourself on iOS 11.3.1. Typically, it's advised that users looking to jailbreak remain on the lowest firmware possible; however, we do know that iOS 11.3.1 can be jailbroken. A jailbreak of that firmware was demonstrated at InfiltrateCon by Tencent Keen Security Lab. Unfortunately, we don't expect the Keen team to release their jailbreak to the public. The most recent jailbreak release works on iOS 11 - iOS 11.1.2. Source |
