If your ipad is gsm first change to wifi remove board id resistor
Device go to dfu mode
Write wifi model sn bt mac
Restore with wifi version
Done

If you remove resistor now you HAVE to change WiFi chip on air 2 up, the swap drivers dos not work anymore.
Best way is just to bypass iPads, can get all functions without messing about, Apple will start to block SN change as they have on mini 4s.

Sorry A8 are blocked, yes can rite to all iPad but they won’t activate, even with clean details!

A7 mini 2 4g add fuse, air 2 4g remove fuse and serial replace work. A7 not request wifi ic.

But it will probably give activation error, you would have to rite new details.
Just use an iCloud bypass, will be allot quicker.
