ipad mini 2 digitizer replacement, screen now white line - GSM-Forum

Was replacing my ipad mini 2 digitizer and on putting it all back together I thought I better test to see if its all working. The screen has a while line now.

Do I just need to replace the LCD

yes if the screen has lines disconnect the lcd again and reconnect if still same then just replaced the lcd

On further examination I have cut one of the ribbon cables on the bottom of the LCD when I was cutting the fabric tape

listen that cable is one from touch glass and one from lcd so if u replacing lcd and touch do not worry about cables as far conn on pcb is ok
