Hi everyone, I have an ipad air with this problem.
Does not turn on, the display remains black.
Itunes detects it as ipad in recovery mode, if I try to fix it remains "i prepare ipad for recovery".
The battery with connected battery is 0.20Ah fixed, without battery 0.05.
I replaced the tristar ic and the situation remained unchanged.
How do you recommend doing the diagnosis? Thank you!

I would add that some time ago the ipad has given the same problem, after 1 month it was magically shut down, it started working again without any problems for a few days. Then I died again and again.

Change The U2 IC will be ok

I have already changed the tristar (which should be u2) ... no change

Ipad mini no power problem

I have the absolute same behaviour with A1475,

0,2 amp charging with battery, changed battery to new one, no change

Measured all power rails and oscillator, board seems to be in working condition

Pad is not recognized to itunes,
while pressing Dfu-button combination short reaction like a reset is in current visible, wents about 2 seconds to 0.0 amps.

I‘ve got to tips

change u2 —> i find no electical issue and try now to snif usb communication
change Nand—> hui hui hui big issue, maybe a stuck in Nand

Standby in repair until I have more facts.
