I have the old 2G slide to unlock is won't let me slide to open-unlock the phone! Can anybody let me know what to do to fix the phone.Thanks

This is a hardware problem. You wil have to disasemble your phone and check that all flex cables are plucked in properly. If this dont solve your problem, you wil have to replace the complete LCD with Digitiser (touch screen). This is a complete unit and cannot be replaced seperatly.
