Member: 17689 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.72392 Thanks Meter: 737 | Its a well known Hardware problem you can contact me on any messenger but you need a great Hands in hardware and i guess by now in every part of the world there is someone who is capable of doing IPHONE 3-G unlock via hardware no matter what the BL or Modem version is so better approach to them instead of trying anything foolish on your own @ALL Iphone3g-s new baseband exploits are certainly discovered by the respected Dev-Team and also by GEOHOT (maybe they have the same exploits) which are required for JAILBREAK OR UNLOCK But I think they will not gonna release it why? No one gonna waste a new iBoot exploit on a minor release like 3.1.3 The guys like DEVTEAM and GH are real talents they thinks one step ahead they not going to give up valuable exploits right now. Apple will fix the hole in 3.1.4 or any major release and we are back where we started. SO? NO way for now other than waiting and just dont update the new releses I hope you understand |

Member: 232291 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ther is a solution, real one not like others say, try redsn0w, or sn0wbreeze to make a custom firmware or just download one and fake apple server verification by the cydia sevrver...waste of time, that's the solution, the real thing for now as above, if u get stuck the only move is to restore on latest fw iPhone2,1_3.1.3_7E18, and veryfied by apple server, u try anithing, it wont work. for me only worked by normal update, I got shsh on my comp and also on saurik server, but 4 nothing it won't update just hangs, freeze etc, I did all the ways DFU, Recovery just 4 nothing... |

Member: 1263932 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 181 | Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS (model MC133FD), serial xxx48, modem firmware 05.11.07, Bootloader 6.4, and I know the ECID. f0recast told me the bootloader version and told me to use blacksn0w to unlock. I ran Blackra1n RC3 in XP compatibility mode with admin rights on a Vista machine. After running, iTunes popped up etc. Now I have the problem that the iPhone is caught in restore mode (UBS cable image). I can rerun blackra1n, but it only says "Waiting for device". Log file: *** INFO: welcome to blackra1n for windows INFO: loaded dll at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\iTunesMobileDevice.dll INFO: button clicked INFO: internal device callback called INFO: callbacks registered INFO: sent enter recovery command *** INFO: welcome to blackra1n for windows INFO: loaded dll at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\iTunesMobileDevice.dll INFO: button clicked INFO: callbacks registered *** INFO: welcome to blackra1n for windows INFO: loaded dll at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\iTunesMobileDevice.dll INFO: button clicked INFO: callbacks registered *** INFO: welcome to blackra1n for windows INFO: loaded dll at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\iTunesMobileDevice.dll INFO: button clicked INFO: callbacks registered *** etc. What shall I do? Try to restore to 3.1.3 in iTunes and forget the unlock? HELP!!! |

Member: 1263932 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 181 | Finally it worked, after several hours of trying (just after my last post)!! I thought I tried all combinations of plugging in, reset, holding keys etc., but it looks like I missed this one: 1. Plug off the iPhone 2. Turn it off by pressing Home and upper button at the same time until it turns off (about ten seconds). 3. Press Home button for about one minute (20 seconds was not enough). 4. Plug in USB, whild Blackra1n is running searching for the device. 5. Keep Home button still pressed, until the Blackra1n graphic appears. I'm having some more troubles, but at least I'm a step further. Another problem I had is that when Blackra1n showed "Done, waiting to reboot" and the popup appeared, the device rebooted and the next popup appeared already. After that the screen went black (with backlight illuminated) and some process went on for about ten minutes or so. Then in Blackra1n, I installed the unlock and the post-installation screen just showed the wait-cursor with an empty window. I had to interrupt that and install again. Second time with success. Main problem is now that after turning off the iPhone I have to connect to the PC again, but I think this is known issue with no solution so far. |
