If you are like me ( pee'd off right now ) and dont have a iphone but a itouch less than 1 year old, you have to pay $12.99 in my case, may depend on where you are in the world, I am in Australia. I see no reason for this charge for a number of reasons, my itouch 16Gb is about 6 months old, I still have warranty, also, why should I pay, the benefits that iphone users get from the upgrade are about double of that which I get as a itouch owner. People have been de*****ng the decision based on iphone users paying $$ per month for the telco, well hang on, thats the telco no apple, also note you have a camera ( upgrade of additional benefits ), bluetooth ( upgrade offers benefits ), sms ( upgrade offers benefits ) gps ( upgrade offers benefits ) do I need to go on. The only really benefit I get is shake shuffle - you get it to, copy nd paste, you get it to etc etc etc. So instead of the iphone owners complaining about breaking the update etc, how about you have your heart bleed a little for those that are acctually forced in many ways to pay for a bug fix and firmware update that you get for free. I only ask that someone work out how to break the itouch update so I and many other, otherwise made to pay, owners of itouch so we to can get it for free |

Member: 11325 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 266 | tested and working 100% perfectly on the 3G. Just update it to 3.0 and apply the gift by Devteam as usual. The only problem i met is when jailbreaking using redsnow and included ICY. Ignoring that it works 100% ok. Again .... thanks guys! BTW.... Welcome back to Steve Jobs who SHOULD be coming back in a few days |
