Question EDGE settings not being saved ***help***

Apps work fine over Wifi. Previuosly, I had a problem with YouTube on GPRS but I found a patched file so it started working over EDGE.

Now, I have installed FRING... same problem... works perfect over Wifi but does not seem to connect over EDGE/GPRS.

are there any system files that I can tweak around with to see if EDGE settings are being saved properly for all apps. Or does every app has its own specific file storing EDGE settings.

Help much appreciated !

Jazz

Hi There Freind:
if this helps to fix most bugs on iphone there is a haed reset you obviously know (hold home+power button for 15 seconds) and that might help you or there is an application called (BOSSPREFS) i am pretty sure that it enables you to activate or deactivate settings over apps

good luck bro all the best

EDGE settings is the same for all apps using internet, however in older versions on iphone edge settings were being lost when you restart your iphone but now if u have 1.1.4 VER it only changes when u place another sim card.
about fring over edge i dont think u will get a good sound quality.
