You can use Redsnow from iPhonedevteam.. blakra1n cant jailbreak your iPhone if its 3.1

Very sorry my mistake..

There is no support from redsnow for firmware 3.1 on windows.These days we used custom firmwares made from MAC OSX (Pwnagetool)

Try this option its easier , time saving.

Restore to original 3.1.2 stock firmware from iTunes
then go www.blackra1n.com
.download blackra1n and jailbreak your phone .
after jailbreak connect WIFI start blackra1N icon on iphone menu.
Install CYDIA and blacksnow for unlock..
