guys pls help me. i cant restore my iphone 2g. when i restore it it always says error etc. pls help me

error -13 , when i click restore and update on my itunes it always end up[ with error. what is the possible solution?

What is the condition of the phone now, I mean is it stuck in "Recovery Mode"(only CD & cable on the screen)...??
