Help needed - i've messed up my iphone, can you help? - GSM-Forum

i have bl 4.6 1.1.2 otb

tried to unlock it with the 'geo' method, i downgraded the firmware, jailbreaked it then using ibrickr was in the process of putting in the ice04.02.13 file and i had unzipped the gunshot and place these files in.

Followed the thread and did the command prompts in the terminal program.
At the last prompt it said it didn't have these files.

I thought upgrading to it's original 1.1.2 firmware would 'factory reset' everything but i got a code 1062? Then i tried to restore 1.1.1 and got the usual 1015 error but now it wont jailbreak at all.

How can i repair it?

u will have to update to 1.1.3 then follow stanner Austins post to unlock.

i do had same problem then i tried on other pc and it worked restore upgrade whatever u do.try to download 1.1.2 firmware again and delete the one u have it might file got corrupted or something

I did the 1.1.1 software again and managed to jailbreak it, them i used the application 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB to 'unlock' the phone, it installed fine and then i was able to upgrade to 1.1.2. but now i can't get the windows..bat file to jailbreak it!!

It doesn't see the iphone... has anyone else encountered this?

did you instal oktoprep before updating to 1.1.2 ?

no i didn't... i didn't know if the new app for the unlock would do this and since there was no mention on the i.unlock. site for this i didn't do it....
...wil i need to downgrade, jailbreak, oktoprep, 1.1.2/1.1.3 unlock tool, upgrade to 1.1.2 and then try to jailbreak again?

I redid the whole thing installing oktoprep at the correct moment..

....again though, after upgrading to 1.1.2. and using windows.bat, it couldn't find the phone connected. as soon as i close down windows.bat, itunes tries to open and then phone is clearly there!!

Does anyone know what i've done wrong? Java's up to date too

downgraded to 111
jailbreaked
installed bsd subsystem
installed g- 1.1.2./1.1.3. upgrade (installer)
installed oktoprep
upgraded to 1.1.2.
tried to run windows.bat (cant find the phone)
