Need help: 3G stuck at apple logo

it restored just fine (finished successfully)
i even tried to jailbreak it and it was successful too
but it still can't boot pass the apple logo.
i also noticed that it's not as bright as other phones (seems like the brightness has been adjusted to lowest)

plz help.

hold power for 10 sec and after press home button (dnt release the power button)
wait until iphone logo disappear
try to switch it on

if phone boot normally u are fine

i just want to clear this:
1. hold power button for 10sec
2. dont release the power button, press & hold the home button
3. keep holding both power and home until the apple logo disappear
4. turn the phone on normally

is that rigt?

I have exactly the same problem with one 3G 16GB.
I flashed it more then 30 times so far with DFU mode or with itunes logo and still the same.
The harware seems ok to me and the panel is so clean as a new one.

I'll appreciate if i can get a little help here.

can u upload itunes update log of recent restore....located in C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR CURRENT USER\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Updater Logs

he did restore and still not fixed

did you interrupted a full erase/wipe or you just got it like this?
