hi,

Got 1 iphone 3gs 3.1.2 base band 5.11 nd trying to put

cydia using red snow 9.04 but eventualy ended up with

phone having nothing on screen like dead. But i tune is

able to detect it with mse " I tune has detected phone in

recovery mode mode. You must restore...........".

Can sme body guide me to comeout of this problem.

use blackrai1n to jailbreak your phone.

Thanks for ur quick help, but blackrain is unable

to detect my phone. Only i tune is able to detect it in

dfu/recovery mode. Even i m nt able to come out of

dfu / recovery mode with normal procedure. Badly need

help.

there is no chance to exsite DFU mode in 3gs new boot (the solution is to updat it to 3.1.3 but you lose your unlock)

so is there any chance of updating iphone 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 with baseband 5.11 with out losing lock or modem upgrade.

Nice question, I would like to know it also. I put cydia with redsnow, blackrain it. Now works on 3.1.2 with 5.11, is unlocked, but every restart and power off, must blackrainit again.

Try again, leave the battery to power off completly, and try to redsnow it again, with 3.1.2 firmware if it works, nice, blackrain and is done.

solved yet. I need your opinion, IS IT POSSIBLE

TO UPGRADE MY DEVICE FROM 3.1.2 BASEBAND 5.11

TO CUSTOM 3.1.3 USING I TUNE?? WILL IT UPDATE

MY BASE BAND AS WELL OR NOT?

Bcoz my phone can be detected with i tune only. Please post ur

suggestion.

khaasla YES you can update it to 3.1.3 custom firmware. i just did on mine and it's work perfectly.
