iPhone 3G & 3GS iTunes error 4O


Please help,

We have a 3G that was previously jailbroken, when trying to restore from DFU mode in iTunes to stock firmware we get error code 40

Also a 3GS that is in recovery mode, try to restore to stock firmware and we get error 40 also.

hosts file is clear, iPhone 4/4S/5 all update without any problem!

Please help

You mean sn0wbreeze 2.0.2? I will give a try tomorow...

I think this phone it was jailbroken before, then the customer try to restore to original FW, but at this prosess fails with error 40. Doesen't mater if DFU not.

please give me a solution i hv a 3g i phone n want to update
but have this error i tune can not restore iphone software, it ends on
