Member: 2012075 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | iPhone 3G & 3GS iTunes error 4O We have a 3G that was previously jailbroken, when trying to restore from DFU mode in iTunes to stock firmware we get error code 40 Also a 3GS that is in recovery mode, try to restore to stock firmware and we get error 40 also. hosts file is clear, iPhone 4/4S/5 all update without any problem! Please help |

I think this phone it was jailbroken before, then the customer try to restore to original FW, but at this prosess fails with error 40. Doesen't mater if DFU not. | |
