iPhone 3Gs unknown error occurred(1)
 

Hi all

iPhone 3gs (32gb)
History of the phone - was a dropped damaged phone
After trying to restore with i tunes it almost completes flashing and right at the end it comes with ERROR(1) which I haven come across before.

Also i have tried putting the phone in DFU mode and try to install custom firmwares 4.1/4.2.1...ect with them I get error 3194 and 20 and some times 1601..

Any Idea guys how get rid of this error and get the phone out of the recovery mode???

Error 1
Unable to downgrade. Try changing the USB port (the back one of chassis is better) and restart computer.
The installed version of iTunes may also be too old. Update iTunes.


but i think its hardware prob chk on hardware

Ye mate I think so too Coz Im running i Tunes 10.5.xxx which is the latest and Hv already tried with changing the port...tx for ur prompt reply

bro did you try to run tss server then restore it in custom just use ireb to go in dfu mode,.

having the same error with iphone4 (ERROR1)

history of my handset is new lcd fitted-now recovery mode
managed to kick out,,,no imei-blanked wifi-bluetooth all zero's

any solution?

thats it error 1 mean ur bassband chip is damaged try remov and resolder and replace it just replace with a new on 100% solution ihad the same problem with many iphones
