PLEASE HELP ME HOW CAN I UPDATE MY IPOD TOUCH FIRMWARE 1.1.5 TO 2.2 ?

I HAVE IPOD TOUCH :
16GB
VERSION 1.1.5 (4B1)

SO HOT TO KNOW IF IT IS 1G OR 2G??
IN CASE I WANT TO UPDATE FIRMAWRE TO 2.1 OR 2.2 HOE TO DO?
WHAT I NEED TO MAKE IT WORK?
SHOULD I PAY TO HAVE VERSION 2.0?

CAN I UPDATE TO 2.1 IF I HAVE 1.1.5 ?
OR I SHOULD HAVE 2.0 ON IT FIRST?

PLEASE I NEED SOME GOOD INFO ABOUT IT

U Can Restore It To 2.1 Or 2.2 By Itunes 8

use winpwn to upgrade to 2.0
and then factory restore to 2.2
and then quickpwn will jailbreak for you
have done this many times
if your ipod is running 1.1.5, you should be version 1
