CCleaner is a device optimization tool that helps you get the most out of your devices. It's designed to clean to a safe limit so that your software or hardware isn't harmed, and it's really safe to use. Unfortunately, after becoming the target of two cyber-attacks, many people mistook it for viruses. CCleaner can't damage many gaming systems, so look for some nice games to play such as pokemon for pc or just visit here.

and in background just do basically nothing.

android system have it's own mechanisms to clean trash/cache files.
also, you can do it manually, by going to "Apps" manager,
and one by one cleaning cache+storage on needed apps
(like messenger, facecrap, etc.)

It seems like we got two separate opinions on this... In my opinion, CCleaner looks helpful for low-end systems that require optimization, but are generally useless when it comes to high end system that can handle its own. Especially since Androids have its own way of doing this, as mentioned by Brka. But I would really love to see an expert's opinion on this.
