Member: 2740220 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | My name is.. It's nice to find a place full of info concerning modern technology, and how to uhm,.. check it's inner workings. Currently I stay in Europe, while I see my profession as my hobby : develop hardware and on occasion even software, to interface with it, if needed. So got some background in development for USB-devices, communicating over UART. But also developed sensors and several consumer electronic devices. My intention is to find information about Apple devices, since I'm stuck with them here. I don't like it when a device is locked and not available to modify (even a slight "bit"). I'm from the DOS-era, which means you had to know commands in order to run a computer. Windows is nice, but a lot happens without a user getting in control or even knowing what's going on behind a shield. So yeah, maybe I'm a control freak, but I rather mention it as : being curious, and like to fiddle with all types of buttons, switches and,.. the rest. Next, gaining info is nice, but also sharing info is a good thing, which is part of my intention, by becomming a member overhere. |
