Member: 1502868 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hauwei E160G... Update firmware?? I have a E160G modem. I want to use it so i can make calls from my pc... as i understand it if I update the the firmware it will install voice support and update the dashboard... i did this and still no voice support.. got a dial screen on my new dashboard but whenever i dial a number it states 'failed'... cant call my number either (saids phone is off) does anyone know of anything else i can try... i really need voice support on my e160g.. the specs state that it is possible. i have my flash number.... not really sure on what to do with it... what programs should i use?... dont like dc unlocker cause you have to pay..  has anyone got voice support working on a e160g? how did you do it? please help! thanks in advance!!!!!!!  |

But is my flash code... the same as my unlocking code... on another thread i posted my imei (354300021996794) and got the unlocking code... is this what i use??? thanks!!!! By the way... How do I use this russian patch??? There is no readme... and google doesnt know anything about it.. I am pretty sure my modem is already unlocked... Thanks again!!!! Quote:

To help others that come accross this thread: Get your unlock and flash codes. Install latest firmware update using your flash code Open mobile partner and enter unlock code Use patch from MTS russia (open app, then disconect and connect modem, click run) Thats it.... Thanks again MKAlexMan!!!! Much appreciated!!!!!!!!!! |
