Phone cannot be unlocked with a calculated code.
However, you can try this method that I used on my x497.

1. Insert other providers sim
2. *2767*3855# let it reboot(restart)
3. *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (this changes network lock w/password 00000000)
4. #7465625*638*00000000# (this deactivates network lock w/00000000)
5. *#7465625# to check all locks
If all are inactive, then you are good to go.

On mine the sp lock was still active though. When I restarted the phone with the "other providers" sim, it prompted me for a sp lock password. 00000000 did'nt work and left me with 9 tries.
This is what I did to get rid of that:
1. Insert the original Fido sim.
2. *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (re-activated network lock....this got rid of the prompt for the sp lock password when the other sim is inserted)
3. Insert other providers sim.
4. *7465625*77*00000000*00000000# (changes sp lock w/password 00000000).
5. #7465625*77*00000000# (de-activates sp lock)
6. #7465625*638*00000000# (de-activates network lock)
7. Manually re-start phone.
8. Message should say "Wrong sim". Enter 00000000 then press OK.
Everything should be now unlocked. Verify with *#7465625#

Hope this helps.
