Post BST Dongle - BST uart cable connection communication failed!


Try to solve problem as follow way if you facing uart cables connect communication failed problem:

First of all, confirm you BST uart cables connect way is correct:
Phone > BST uart cables (R150K, R523K, R619K) > BST PCB Adpater (or other univeral interface box) > USB A-B Cable > PC USB Port.


1. Check Phone Baseband Version (type *#1234# check cp value is blank or not, if cp value is blank thats mean phone baseband unknown), if phone baseband unknown try solve baseband unknown problem 1st.

Try solve phone baseband unknown problem as follow way:
1). Flashing with correct fullflash
2). Write Default EFS (or Wipe EFS) -- suggest backup original efs before write default efs or wipe efs
3). Reboot phone check baseband version again.

2. Check PL2303 Driver Version (run bst software check pl2303 driver version & release date on logs window, if you can see "OK" with green color thats mean you pl2303 driver working sure, otherwise re-install bst pl2303 driver, X:\BST\Drivers\PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1. 8.0.exe)

3. Keep the phone connected uart cables and then reboot phone.

4. Keep phone screen on and then try uart cable communication (Press "Home" button)

Note4, S5 that not want Wipe, S6 and all other New device that not want do Wipe Security/Efs must need of:

Block battery's proper contact by using a tape, connect the phone to BST, when request, with Micro UART 530K resistor cable and write the IMEI Certificate, after Wiped EFS, here photo:

Hey...LOL are you and respect other members...if for MY MISTAKE have wrote also S6 isn't Dead anybody....who have S6 in his handle know good that cannot remove battery...

Anyway, no need Cip ciop with you for these thinghs.... SORRY TO ALL USER, my mistake in writing also S&, but for Other New Device Note4, S5 series is Valid this small Tip.

I was able to make it work on the s6 by going to *#0*# menu but after the imei is written succesfully there is no signal, and the repair network option is not available

S6 Battery Covered

Does the Samsung SM-G920T battery need to be covered like the S5 and Note 4 for the UART Cable to recognize it?
If so this will be an issue for many...

NO, in S6 no need cover BSI...and in S6 battery cannot take out... only Update GOOD how all others can work in this model.
