Up until now there is no root for this verizon phone.
Not here, not xda, not anywere, using search in gsmhosting or outside(google).
Perhaps wait untill someone root a firmware or release a flashable weak kernel.
After all, it only got out to market in February.

Use Kingroot Apk 4.1 and make sure you have internet connection. I tried it and it worked for me. Goodluck
