Member: 2810324 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | sm-g891a not detected, screenlock not removed I installed v40 on windows 10/64, had to use zadig libusb since bst libusb driver install failed. bst program started correctly. Remove screenlock instruction says to use microusb cable. However, scan does not detect the phone at all. Second advice is to type code to use uart.. but code seem to have no effect in emergency mode dial screen -- did not accept it. What am I doing wrong? What windows version is best for this dongle software? I do not wish to return it for refund, but I am stuck. Please help. |

Member: 2810324 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for the reply. Yes indeed I did install the phone drivers that came with the BST package. The install was completely normal other than the complaint the libusb install failed on a windows 10 /64 dell laptop. That same complaint happened on an Asus windows 7/64 system. I wonder what system is the one others are using since the v40 BST install seems to fail on both Win 7 and Win 10 for the usb drivers. Had to install the zadig libusb drivers for the software to identify the dongle and proceed at all. Any other ideas? |

Member: 2810324 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks. Could you explain a bit more? Enable ADB in BST or on the phone? And if on the phone-- it won't even scan with the microusb cable. Also please some link explaining the gtalk method? Thanks again. |
