Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 25,204 | reply Dear User, The OPPO IMEI REPAIR is not supported at the moment. You can try to connect the device to the tool, because in that case the Tool will run an AUTODETECT method on it, which will show you what services can we do for it, and it will provide us some information about the device, which will help our work in the future. But we do not have an exact solution for that. Best regards Sab Chimera team |

Member: 2727333 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks to chimera team for gsm market. I dont understand this point " 4. Kill this via-connection. Cut it with a scalpel or drill over it." Is it just cut or drill this point or make test point to ground on processing? What the meaning to drill this point? |

Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 25,204 | reply Dear Rickyman, You do not need a complex tool to break this connection through via. Turn a sharp knife or scalpel a few times when the tip is inserted to the via whole. This way you remove permanently the original connection between the LED and its driver. The purpose is to reuse the LED for a different function - see further steps You do not need to drill through the via Theoretically, you can drill through to kill the connection, but unless you have a properly sized drill bit, we do not recommend this.
