Dear Users,

All of you who've faced any kind of errors after releasing the new world first update, please now read the following guideline carefully and follow the instructions:
If you got this error message: "Downloading OS file failed"

1. Download the latest updated version of the chimeratool software from our website.

If you've downloaded that and you get same error message:

Please download and save these files next to Chimera.exe and decompress them to:

2.
After the extraction you should see this directory structure including these files:
- ChimeraFiles\general\Unlock\os10\OMAP\10.3.0.1418_ omap.os
- ChimeraFiles\general\Unlock\os10\QCOM\10.3.0.1418_ qcomm.os

If all of these have been done, please restart ChimeraTool software and try the procedure again.

my work id is 5111133. My laptop went off after have clicked yes for chimera to remove 65 credit and it showing initializing usb connection and the fone is not unlocked yet and my credit has been taking. Have flashed the fone but its still locked. am starting the process again cos the customer is waiting and the fone keeps rebooting.

Dear Alfarouk,

Please try the Unlock procedure with Windows 7 operation system.
XP is too old and not compatible.

Please try it with another USB Cable and please make sure that you are using Windows 7 because this method is not compatible with Windows XP.

thanks, and I did ok with other cable and if I use win 7, the funny thing is that leaves nuke, I make the software with the same chimera and passes full and left running without unlocking

Dear rostyn,

Problem is that connection is pending for too long.
It can happen because your PC or your Internet connection is very slow and connection ends with time out.
Please try it on other PC and with a faster internet connection.
