Dear User,

Information about the chimeratool remove frp lock processes:

1. FRP lock remove (old method): in each case install older firmware than august 2016 on the device and the frp lock remove will be ok.
(Please use the firmware compatibility check process, with it you can be sure everything will be ok with the flash firmware)

2. Reset FRP lock - NEW: it is working only on the listed models with the listed (exact firmwares).
That means when you can not find your device's firmware version in a list, please do not use that function, it will be failed.

3. Reset reactivation lock / frp lock:
It is a special function that is able to use only in the listed models.

In your case and with this model I recommend using the option Reset FRP / Reactivation Lock.
Please upload the result of the operation.
Thank you!

Using Reset FRP / Reactivation Lock. results in a soft brick where a series of error message appear all reading "Unfortunatelly, Nfc Service has stopped." Pressing OK on these messages just causes another to pop up.

However, I found a workaround for that. If, after using chimera but before the phone reboots, I put the phone in recovery mode and then reboot. It startup with only a few errors.

But then, going through and attempting "Factory Data Reset" prompts for a Samsung Account. So, I still can't remove the Reactivation Lock.

So, just to reiterate, the Rest FRP / Ractivation Lock. Can bypass setup, but it doesn't remove Reactivation Lock.

Dear Sir,

please log out and log in again into the chimeratool software. We fixed some things on the mentioned model.
If it is possible try again the frp lock remove on the mentioned model and send us some feedback about the result.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards
Nicole

Thank you so much. That update resolved my problem. Repair Reactivation Lock works exactly like the other S6 models now.

How do I edit OP now? I'd like to change title to include [Solved]
