Red face S4 stuck in system recovery during imei repair

Good evening all,
I was wondering if someone could please help me.
I am trying to repair an imei on my s4 and it get stuck at 83%.

Its the point when it tries to establish an ADB connection for the 2nd time.
The phone sits in recovery mode with the following options:

  • reboot system now
  • apply update from ADB
  • apply update from external storage
  • wipe data/factory reset
  • wipe cache partition
  • apply update from cache.

The phone just sits there waiting, and Chimeratool sits waiting for the ADB connection. Then Chimeratool just gets bored and gives up:

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have tried searching the forum, but im lost.

I appreciate your help and thank you in advance.
Cooperman

Dear Cooperman6943,

The root process was not successful, please remove the battery from the phone and put back, after it please try again the process. When you get same error again, please try the root process with one special root software (for example vroot) and when it is successful you can use the chimeratool software.

Kind Regards:
Chimera Team
