Member: 1787203 Status: Online Thanks Meter: 23,742 | reply Hello, The IMEI REPAIR is a relatively old method, which one is not workable for the newer firmware/ security patch versions. We did replace that service with the IMEI RECOVERY and with the WRITE CERT. Best regards Sab Quote:

Member: 1787203 Status: Online Thanks Meter: 23,742 | reply We checked your work again. The device is an MHA-L29, so that means that we can perform the previously mentioned IMEI RECOVERY and the WRITE CERT. How should you start? You have to connect the device in ADB mode. So that means that you have to enable the usb debugging on the device. Just after that connect the phone with an original Huawei cable to the Tool. Then you will see the IMEI RECOVERY and the WRITE CERT. Which one should you use? It depends on the problem that you face of course. The IMEI RECOVERY can and will restore the device original IMEI number. With this function you cannot change the imei number to a totally different number. The WRITE CERT can change the imei number of the device. But to be able to use it, you have to have a CERT file. The Chimera Tool does provide the READ CERT service for these cases. With that method, you can read out the cert files from another device (same model with a good network), and you can use the WRITE CERT to load those files to the damaged phone. None of these services will require credits from you. Best regards Sab Quote:

Member: 2932917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I have downgraded the software and the imei repair issue is still not solved. I am so disappoinmted with chimeratool support. They cannot follow up complaints and make sure it is resilved, well there is no problem but i feel terribly bad with them. |

Member: 1787203 Status: Online Thanks Meter: 23,742 | reply Dear User, Sorry far the late reply, actually Shensohau provided the solution for you. Yes you have to flash an older firmware version to the device. Most users using the following one: 8.0.0.373(C605) Please try to use this one. In the meantime we already replaced the IMEI REPAIR generally with two other services: Imei recovery and Write cert. For the new android versions you have to use those ones. Note: This two is not added to every device. Not yet at least. Best regards Sab |
