Problem is not a connection with chimera or drivers. Problem is in Huawei phones, that some of them don't accept *#*# 2846579#*#* to enter engineer mode. just nothing happens when I dial the code. Any other way to enter this mode?
thank you

Dear user!

A) Enable "manufacture mode" on your phone. This is done by entering in dial pad code *#*#2846579#*#*, select "Project Menu", "Background settings", "USB ports settings", "Manufacture mode". Then connect it to PC and install drivers

B) Install drivers for your phone by downloading and installing HiSuite software or by downloading this driver pack and applying drivers manually. After driver installation your phone in device manager must look like in the image below

Please check if you have the image connection or upload to the forum as you can see the connection of your phone.
Otherwise and if you do not upload more specific information, it is very difficult to help you.

I don't know if you read question or you just answer automatically from some template. I don't have problems with drivers or anything.
That is the problem :
Enable "manufacture mode" on your phone. This is done by entering in dial pad code *#*#2846579#*#*,
Dial pad code doesn't work. It has nothing to do with chimera. Just Huawei thing...
Anybody faced this problem ?

if it is possible choose the pc suite as the connection type instead of the MTP.
It can solve that problem too.

Best regards
Nicole

You need not enter the mentioned code.
1. Connect your device to the computer
2. open the notification shade on the phone
3. here you can find the status of the connection, for example it is connected only for charge etc.. and you can switch it to pc suite in many case and it can solve the problem.

Best regards
Nicole
