a346m u2 after repair imei network locke for all carriers - GSM-Forum

hi, i have a a346m/n u2, from telcel mexico, i make a imei repair, and patch and the process was succed, but when i put a simcard for the original carrier or any other carrier the phone said blocked for network, if i put the original nvdata, nv ram backup, the phone are unlocked but not have network because is blacklisted, can you check that issue please?

Dear User,

As fasr as I know, this is not possible as the IMEI Repair does not change the network settings. You can try to unlock it on the repaired imei, we have an unlock solution on it based on the carrier of the phone.

Currently, we do not have any other suggestions.

if you see the sim status say in the first log, loaded, and when i repaired and cert patched in the last log network locked, the device are unlocked, but blacklisted, and now even with the original sim say network locked. i can submit the original nvdata nv ram backup and the repaired too if you want to check that issue

Dear User,

In your first Get Info work, the Sim status was locked. Workid: 226718903

The IMEI Repair procedure should not change the network lock status.

Hello, have we solved this? I also did imei repair on an A336M from telcel mexico. Simcard working fine, and now is NETWORK LOCKED. With no possibility of reading codes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Why aren't you able to read the codes from the device? This phone was network locked before, as soon it connected to the network, you saw that it is locked.

Thanks for the reply. Let me explain a little better.

Before imei repair, phone was working fine, with network and signal 4g/3g/2g. After imei repair, in the botton of the screena theres a message: LOCKED FOR NETWORK. When you unlock the screen, theres no possibility of entering any network unlock codes. I did test and restored the previous state of nvdata. Phone working fine with signal, NOT locked to network.

Dear User,

Telcel uses a mdm-based network lock on many of their newer devices. When it connects to internet, it will communicate with servers and lock up. We would recommend attempting to unlock bootloader, and flash a patched rom that disables knoxguard and mdm.,this should disable the network lock too.
